Having done his primary and higher secondary education from Bhavnagar(Home school), he developed a strong bond with the city. Hence despite pursuing further education in bigger cities - M.B.B.S. B.J. medical college, Ahmedabad (university topper ), Masters in General Surgery (M.S.) from V.S. hospital & N.H.L. medical College Ahmedabad (batch topper), M.Ch. Neurosurgery from the prestigious Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. hospital, Bombay and DNB in neurosurgery - he always yearned to be back home.

He had a vision to be able to provide the standard of care available in the metros at Bhavnagar - Meru Nursing Home is the result of that vision.

Dr. Shah has presented many papers and conducted numerous seminars in neurosurgery. He was an honorary visiting neurosurgeon at the Government Medical College, Bhavnagar as well as the State-run District Government Hospital of Bhavnagar.

At present he continues to provide outpatient service at Meru Nursing Home.

In Meru nursing Home our legacy of treating neuro patients will be continued by Dr. Sandip Solanki.

Professional Experience:- Dr Sandip R Solanki is very eminent neurosurgeon of Gujarat, who completed his MBBS and M.S.general surgery from Saurashtra University, Gujarat. He was selected for further studies for M.Ch.(neuro surgery) at B.J. medical college and civil hospital Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During this early years of his practice as a neurosurgeon he decided that he wanted to specialize in minimal invasive neurosurgery and Cath lab assisted neuro intervention procedures so he trained himself and he was selected for prestigious fellowship and got National as well as international exposure in working at renowned centres like CGMH University, Taiwan. He had successfully performed more than 3000 Brain and Spine Surgery with Excellent results for 9 years.

He regularly attends and actively participates in National and International workshops, seminars and conferences to upgrade his knowledge to serve the society with the latest innovation of medicine. He has received various awards for academics-scientific work and published his research articles in journals.
