Having done his primary and higher secondary education from Bhavnagar (Home school), he developed a strong bond with the city. Hence despite pursuing further education in bigger cities - M.B.B.S. B.J. medical college, Ahmedabad (university topper ), Masters in General Surgery (M.S.) from V.S. hospital & N.H.L. medical College Ahmedabad (batch topper), M.Ch. Neurosurgery from the prestigious Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. hospital, Bombay and DNB in neurosurgery - he always yearned to be back home.
He had a vision to be able to provide the standard of care available in the metros at Bhavnagar - Meru Nursing Home is the result of that vision.
Dr. Shah has presented many papers and conducted numerous seminars in neurosurgery. He is an honorary visiting neurosurgeon at the Government Medical College, Bhavnagar as well as the State-run District Government Hospital of Bhavnagar.
